Home canned apple pie filling

I felt the need to taste taste my home canned apple pie filling. This was made with the standard Ball book recipe and it was FABULOUS. There’s a lot of excess liquid in the jars, so I just discarded that. Although it probably wouldn’t have been a bad idea to save it for baked apples or something similar?
