Bakery Style Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325F. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. In separate bowl cream butter and sugars. Then add eggs and vanilla. Mix until well incorporated. Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and roll into 2″ balls. Cook 9 at a time on a cookie sheet for 15 minutes. Cool on sheets to maintain chewy texture.

    Hi Lynn, I baked chocolate chip cookies today too! It was too cold here for me to work outdoors much but I did get to go to a garden meeting at the library this morning! My eggplant never did come up so I planted another seed not so deep. My first batch of radishes planted outside will never amount to anything but the second batch looks better so far. Hoping my gardening season goes better than this! lol Nancy at
