Around the Urban Homestead

We’ve been in the 50’s this week with a low of 33, so it’s still pretty cool out. I’m still not sure at this point if I’ll be able to plant out in the next week or two on my normal schedule. But the hardy plants that are out there already are doing well.

And I was pretty excited to see that the 2 kale plants that survived the winter intend to go to seed this year. In my climate, I hadn’t really expected to see a biennial go through it’s full lifecycle.
